has been offering vehicle rental insurance for Motorhomes
and Trailers since 1978. We
have had Motorcycle, ATV and Scooter rental insurance available
for eight years.
MBA
now introduces Test Ride Insurance for Motorcycle
and Scooter dealers. This is the first time that dealers are
going to be able to offer Test Rides to potential purchasers
of motorcycles and scooters and have insurance for
their dealership, the vehicle and the rider, on an insurance
policy that is separate from their current dealer General
Liability policy. This policy was designed under state specific
rental laws expressly for Test Rides.
While
some G/L policies may provide coverage for Test Rides most
do not. Through our Test Ride program we provide the ability
to define the coverage provided to the rider, the
coverage for the dealership and most importantly the terms
and conditions pertaining to the responsibility and use of
the Bike during a Test Ride. Your General
liability does not and cannot adequately address such issues.

buyers said a test ride had a moderate to strong influence
on their purchase decision.

$20.00 - ($10.00 / bikes under $2000 )
- Test Rider will
also be charged a minimum $1.00 rental fee. You determine
the amount and you collect the rental fee.
- Test Rider time
allowed 15 minutes to 2 hours you determine the length
of time.
- Test Ride may select
up to five bikes per contract.

and complete a short Rider application for the Test Ride.

conditions and the certificate of insurance for the Test Ride.
